The Guild is a non profit association of professional paperhangers with members and chapters across the United State and Canada.

 The Northeast Ohio Chapter (NEO) is a group of dedicated professional paperhangers interested in upgrading & improving their skills as craftsman. If you have come to this site with thoughts of hiring a professional wallcovering installer, please go to the Contact page for a list of our members. You'll be able to see who might be in your area.              

 If you are an installer looking to advance yourself & your skills, read on.

Since our trade is a constant learning experience, becoming a member of our chapter will help you become a better installer & even a better business person. We all want to learn to work smarter & easier.

We meet on a monthly basis,where we might listen to a speaker from the industry, watch a demonstration of a special technique, experience a new tool, learn a new business practice, or simply exchange ideas or tips .    Our schedule of meetings is posted on the Contact page so please check this site often for current listings. Because we have members from the Akron/Canton/Youngstown area as well as Cleveland,we try & split the meetings between the 2 areas. You are welcome to attend up to 3 meetings before you need to make a commitment to join us.

And why should you join?

It's the old saying. you get out of it what you put into it. Whether you've been a paperhanger for 2 years or 25 years, there's always something to gain & something to contribute. You can join the Guild to "sound better" than your competion, many do. OR you can become an active member by joining our chapter. You'll benefit by attending workshops & conventions. Also by exchanging information & experiences with other professional trade members. That includes representatives of wallcoverings. adhesives, tools,primers etc. You'll be kept up on new techniques, and the latest products.
